Cultural stations for game producers are going to be held
The cultural and technical stations are going to be held with the goal of cooperation of the game producers and scientific, technical and cultural increasing of Iranian games in computer game national foundation.
Reported by the deputy of communication and international affairs of computer game national foundation, Mohammad Bitaraf, the deputy of this organization announced this news in 24th of July in the meeting of computer game producers and said: "these stations are going to be held with the intention of game producers' cooperation with other technical and artistic guilds".
Mentioning the necessity of these stations, he expressed: "the game industry is very young in Iran, so the game producers and the other guilds in this realm can cooperate with each other and interchange their experiences to develop the game production in the country. With the attempt of production and cultural deputies of this organization, these stations will be held monthly with the specific subjects in computer game national foundation".
Bitaraf added: "one of the actions which our organization pursues it seriously is the establishment of computer game consortium with the goal of attracting the governmental investment in this arena, because the budget of this organization is very scant. Last year we requested for 80 milliard Rials budget considering the rate of receptors, but unfortunately only 16 million Rials were assigned to our organization and this budget doesn't respond the production cycle of computer games".
Knowing the presence of technical experts of computer game national foundation extremely valuable for the game producers' cooperation, he added: "some new actions in the arena of producing content were started for domestic game producers to recoup their shortages".
Also in this meeting Mohammad Mehdi Behfar Rad, the deputy of production and Mehdi Zangene, the cultural expert described the programs of these cultural stations.
At the end of meeting, the producers presented their viewpoints about these stations and argued about the status of Iranian computer games.
